OUR SERVICES

Jürgen Reindl Group stands for Service with Quality

POSITIVE MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION (PMI)

  • Mostly used during receiving inspection of raw material, positive material identification or commonly referred to as PMI is used to analyse and identify metallic alloy to establish composition by reading the quantities by percentage of its constituent elements.

  • The specimen is subjected to typically two types of methods namely X-ray fluorescence (XRF) or Optical Emission Spectrometry.

  • Personnel of Juergen Reindl ILB Pte Ltd. is NEA L5 License holder authorized to perform PMI inspection.

ULTRASONIC TESTING (UT)

The ultrasonic testing are used to find inhomogeneities both in the entire cross-section and on the surfaces of test objects made of sound-conducting materials. The location, shape and size of the inhomogeneities can also be determined.

ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAUGE (UTG)

The test specimen wall thicknesses and material parameters can be measured using ultrasonic technology thickness gauge.

VISUAL TESTING  (VT)

A visual inspection is the process of locating and evaluating surface-related quality features such as shape deviations, surface properties of a product with the human eye. (Direct visual inspection with or without tools such as Magnifying glass) or using tools such as Videoscope (indirect visual inspection).

LIQUID PENETRANT TESTING (PT)

With Liquid Penetrant testing, inhomogeneity that is open to the surface can be detected.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING (MT)

Magnetic particle testing is a method for detecting cracks in or near the surface of ferromagnetic materials.

EDDY-CURRENT TESTING (ET)

The eddy current testing can be used as a method for the detection of surface and near-surface defects in all electrically conductive materials. We can perform high frequency, low frequency, conductivity, coating thickness, tube corrosion testing etc.
